EVS training, work, and trips

In the last two weeks, I've had the chance to work and travel to different locations in England. Our EVS training took place in Nottingham, a very friendly town by the river which we had the time to explore with the other volunteers. Our group at the training was quite small, but we met people from France, Spain, and Italy and had the chance to talk about the differences between our countries and England.

Yesterday, I also went to Brighton, to help with translating for 3 Palestinians who are traveling in the UK and giving talks about their lives and situation in our country. They were telling about the Deir Yassin massacre, in which one of the 3 speakers lost 11 people of her family. It's great to have such a varied timetable, working every day on different projects and meeting amazing people along the way.
